Line training

Line training is a Training required by the authorities and by the Airlines to achieve the minimum experience to be release as Line First Officer or Line Captain. In fact all the companies have developed the Training Records Book and Operational Manual Training Part– in accordance with the local aviation rules. Fundamentally the aim of line training is to obtain the flying experience required to reach the standard level of safety and theoretical knowledge in flying skills. This important step must be performed by qualified, experienced and motivated instructors to have the best results.

Line training will be the phase of training where the pilots learn how to operate the aircraft in line with operations applying to the company, learn about the SOP and follow a specific and approved program done by the Airline and approved by the Local Authority. Minimum requirement of line training hours are different between countries and companies, even in the same country.
